1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or interacting with Pi Lottery (the "dApp", "Service", or "Platform") via the Pi Browser, you ("User", "Pioneer", or "Participant") signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately refrain from connecting your Pi account or participating in lottery draws.

2 Eligibility & Pi Network Requirements

Participation in the Pi Lottery is contingent upon the following criteria:

  • You must access the dApp strictly through an authorized Pi Browser instance.
  • You must possess an authenticated Pi Network Pioneer account with access to the official Pi Payments SDK.
  • You must grant the necessary authentication scopes (username, payments, and wallet_address) to allow ticket verification and automated prize delivery.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that participating in digital prize raffles complies with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

3 Ticket Purchases & Absolute Non-Refundability

Ticket purchases are conducted in Pi cryptocurrency using the native Pi Payments SDK:

⚠️ Finality Notice: All ticket purchases are STRICTLY FINAL AND IRREVERSIBLE. Once a payment transaction is approved by the Pioneer and confirmed on the Pi Network blockchain, tickets cannot be cancelled, refunded, credited, or transferred under any circumstances.

When you purchase tickets, the system instantly mints cryptographically sequential ticket entries and locks the funds into the current round's prize pool. Because pool calculations are dynamically tied to active entries, reversing a transaction would compromise the cryptographic fairness of all other participating Pioneers.

4 Prize Pool Economics & 20% Platform Fee

Pi Lottery is committed to transparent and sustainable community tokenomics:

Winner Prize Pool: 80% Platform Operations Fee: 20%
80% Awarded directly to winning ticket
20% Retained platform maintenance fee

Fee Breakdown: The platform retains a 20% service and maintenance fee from each completed draw pool. This fee supports:

  • Cloudflare global edge network compute and D1 distributed SQL database hosting.
  • Pi Network blockchain transaction fees and Stellar/Horizon node interaction costs.
  • Continuous security audits, smart contract signing maintenance, and automated backend infrastructure.
  • Future jackpot promotions, community event pools, and feature expansions.

5 Automated App-to-User (A2U) Blockchain Payouts

Prize delivery is fully automated to guarantee fast and direct payouts:

  • Autonomous Execution: When a lottery draw concludes (either upon reaching ticket targets or round timer completion), the winning ticket is selected and an automated App-to-User (A2U) payment transaction is initiated via the Pi Network Payments API and Horizon blockchain ledger.
  • Direct to Pioneer Wallet: Funds are sent directly to the winner's authenticated Pi wallet address without requiring manual claims or withdrawal approval delays.
  • Blockchain Confirmation: The winner receives the jackpot payout upon blockchain consensus. While transactions are dispatched within seconds, final confirmation speed depends on Pi Network ledger availability.

6 Random Selection & Cryptographic Fairness

Winners are selected through an automated, cryptographically secure pseudo-random algorithm. Each individual ticket minted within an active draw holds an equal mathematical probability of selection. Neither the platform administrators nor any third party can predict, influence, or manipulate the winning ticket number.

7 Pioneer Conduct & Prohibited Exploits

Participants agree NOT to engage in any of the following activities:

  • Attempting to manipulate, exploit, reverse-engineer, or inject malicious code into the client application or Cloudflare Worker APIs.
  • Using automated bot scripts or unauthorized API wrappers to flood or disrupt the ticket purchasing workflow.
  • Impersonating other Pioneers or attempting unauthorized wallet address spoofing.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate blacklisting from future draws and reporting to the Pi Core Team developer compliance team.

8 Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is" Service)

⚖️ Legal Disclaimer:
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PI LOTTERY AND ITS DEVELOPERS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, immune from network congestion, or free of bugs originating from external dependencies, browser updates, or Pi Network blockchain consensus halts.

9 Limitation of Liability & Blockchain Risks

You acknowledge and assume all inherent risks associated with using cryptographic tokens and Web3 decentralized applications. Under no circumstances shall Pi Lottery, its contributors, or infrastructure providers be liable for:

  • Delays, failures, or rejections caused by Pi Network API downtime or Horizon node synchronization issues.
  • Losses resulting from user negligence, such as compromising one's own Pi wallet passphrase or utilizing unverified Pi Browser forks.
  • Indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the dApp.

10 Amendments & Regulatory Updates

We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms as necessary to maintain strict alignment with Pi Network Developer Policies, ecosystem guidelines, and technical infrastructure updates. Continued use of Pi Lottery following any posted revisions constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
